For a small fee (£12.00 per hour) we have a researcher who would be willing to conduct a search of original parish records for your ancestor at the local Norfolk Archives. These archives hold an enormous amount of material going back many centuries. Most of these records are not available on the Internet. This type of research has become increasingly important as more spurious and unverified information finds its way on to the Internet. With the exception of digitized images of original documents, information found on the Internet should always be verified by reference to the original records. If you are passing genealogical information on to your children or other family members it is likely that this will be handed down to future generations. You will therefore wish to feel confident that the information is correct.
Our Research Assessment Request Form will help you provide this information. Please take time to complete each section thoughtfully. You might find it beneficial to search through your own records or speak to relatives before completing the form.
We will quote the price before the work is done. We will never proceed with any work until we have quoted the fee and received authorisation to proceed. We guarantee not to exceed the quoted fee.
Please allow up to two weeks for the results to be supplied.
