There are thousands of people who have worked at Laurence Scott. In the last few decades there have been many leave for other jobs but also many, although having faithfully served for decades, who have been made redundant due to the needs of the business. We introduce you to a few of these:
Joined LSE as an Office Boy at the age of 14. He worked in the Order Department but not long after that was called up for service in the RAF, he served 5 years. On his return to LSE after this time he joined the Stores Control Office. Mr E Sexton (the boss at the time) was the Chief Buyer and lived at Martham .
After a further period of time Les was put in charge of Source Control and after that, he went onto join the Drawing Office as a Technical Clerk
