Year - november 6th. 1959. Remembrance Day. - Ref number - 41
This was the first time over 20 years that the lifeboat had been launched to hold a Remembrance Day Service at sea.with the Coxswain Mr.George Mobbs and his crew were Mr.White,a Diocesan leader of Norwich Diocese who conducted the service. After the service the lifeboat visited the "CORTON LIGHTSHIP and Mr.White held a service onboard for the Trinity men.
Year - 1958. Lifeboat Ball. - Ref number - 42
The Lifeboat Ball was held at the Floral Hall,(now the Ocean Rooms)and you can see Miss T.A.Bloomfield,Chairman of the Ladires Lifeboat Guild. Helping her in is Ronald Shephard,Gorleston lifeboatman and holding the boat steady is Coxswain Paul Williment and just behind him is George Mobbs who was at the time the lifeboat mechanic.
Year - december 1952. Danish M.T.B.on Scroby Sands. - Ref number - 43
This was a joint service between the Gorleston Lifeboat and the Caister Lifeboat. (Caister was then an RNLI Station.)The Caister Lifeboat had considerable difficulty in launching as it was swept back to the beach by the NE wind. when they got away they managed to get nine of the crew off the Torpedo Boat. On the east side of Scroby the waves were up to 10 feet high. The bowmen of the Caister lifeboat,Mr.j.Plummer received cuts to his head when he was thrown over when the lifeboat struch one large breaker. The MTB HAVOERNEN was on Scroby for nearly 7 weeks.

I found these photo's with a pile of others but there is no information. Numbers 44-45-46-47 49 and 50 shows two types of lifeboats and cannot see names.
